About the Role

 

Experience a Document Control role like no other with BHP Carrapateena!

 

 

In this highly dynamic, challenging role you will be versatile to adapt and work across a range of document control areas that include projects, engineering, operations and records.  Working with a diverse group of stakeholders, you will champion change and be a reference point for the full scope of document control supporting Carrapateena.

 

 

This role is based at either our Adelaide or Export Park (Adelaide Airport) offices on a 3-2-1 hybrid, flexible arrangement (Monday-Friday).  Regular site visits to Carrapateena are required.

 

 

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Ensure the integrity of deliverables meets the requirements and are controlled throughout the document lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with Engineering personnel, PM’s and Leads to manage project/redline deliverables and track progress.

  • Activate, manage and be responsible for all documents from initiation to publication.

  • Participate as a member of the team to efficiently manage the large volume workload of shared mailbox.

  • Actively participate in regular team meetings, auditing and reporting requirements.

  • Deliver training and education to internal and external system users as required.

  • Foster and support document management processes and implement improvements in line with changing site governance requirements.

  • Have the flexibility to work from Carrapateena mine site on an ad-hoc basis.

 

About You

 

  • Willingness to work closely with others during training period until competency is achieved.

  • The ability to adapt and be flexible to change.

  • Solid experience in complex environments and teams.

  • Advanced knowledge in Excel, Word, Outlook and PDF editing software.

  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail, including skills in quality checking and auditing in line with set requirements and the ability to follow processes.

  • Ability to think critically and solve problems using logic and reasoning.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • Ability to learn new software.

  • Be curious and open to questioning to support ongoing development and knowledge-share.

  • An active listener who positively engages with stakeholders.

  • Exposure to multi-disciplinary mining operations is advantageous.

  • Exposure to document management systems is advantageous.
