About the Role

 

BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is a world-class business, built on the strengths of BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi. BMA is part of the world's largest diversified resources company managing various mines and a port in Central Queensland. 

An opportunity is currently available at our Blackwater mine for a Dragline Operator to work on a Lifestyle Roster reporting to the Supervisor Draglines Dozer Push. Blackwater mine is an open cut coal mine, which has one of the largest coal reserves in Australia and the world.

 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the community and the environment
  • Working on a Lifestyle Roster
  • Working cooperatively within a team to achieve safe production targets

About You

 

  • The successful candidate will have: 
  • Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s licence
  • Experience operating Marion 8050, 8200 & Bucyrus 1370 with UDD capability 
  • Demonstrated experience operating D10, D11 Dozers
  • Experience handling dragline cables
  • Demonstrated experience operating a Cable Tractor 
  • Experience operating Graders is also preferred
