About the Role 

 

BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is a world-class business, built on the strengths of BHP Billiton and Mitsubishi. BMA is part of the world's largest diversified resources company managing various mines and a port in Central Queensland. 
 

Opportunities are currently available at our Goonyella mine for Dragline Operators to work on a Lifestyle Roster reporting to the Supervisor Draglines. 

 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the community and the environment
  • Lifestyle Roster Working cooperatively within a team to achieve safe production targets
  • Contributes to the operation of mobile machinery and other plant in an open cut environment
  • Apply technical expertise to solve problems and deliver for the customer.

 

 

About You

 

  • A least 2-3 years experience as a dragline operator 
  • Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s license
  • Experience operating Marion 8050 & Bucyrus 1370 
  • Demonstrated experience operating D10, D11 Dozers
  • Experience handling dragline cables
  • Demonstrated experience operating a Cable Tractor 
  • Experience operating Graders is also preferred
