Goonyella Riverside Mine is looking for an experienced Drill and Blast Supervisor ready to lead high-performing teams and play a key role in our coal mining operations.
Reporting to the Drill and Blast Superintendent you will oversee and coordinate all drill and blast operations on-site to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and production standards

- Lead, coach, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect
- Liaise with planning and production teams to optimize blast designs and schedules
- Monitor performance, investigate variances, and implement improvements to achieve KPIs
- Uphold site safety standards and champion a zero-harm culture

About you
As a successful applicant you will have Coal Mining Drill and Blast experience and a drive for leadership and previous experience to deliver results.

Proven experience in a drill and blast supervisory role (preferably in open-cut coal mining)

Strong technical knowledge of drilling and blasting practices and equipment

A hands-on leader who communicates clearly and leads by example

Relevant qualifications and current certifications (e.g., S1, S2, S3, G2, Shotfirer’s licence)

Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
