We are seeking Electrical Engineering Technicians. You will be responsible to undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs of electrical assets in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liveability in our NPI FIFO Villages. The location of this role is within NPI camps, based at one of our Pilbara locations.

 

About our Role
 

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure), your role will include but not be limited to:
 
•    Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development at all times.
•    Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of plant and equipment.
•    Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
•    Working from schematic drawings, prints, plans or manuals, and recording any modifications.
•    Statutory inspections and testing on village assets.
•    Kitchen Equipment Preventative maintenance and repairs.
•    Village rooms & laundry equipment repairs.
•    Breakdown and fault analysis, repairs and servicing on commercial assets, commercial and split air conditioning systems.
•    Carrying out commissioning, fault finding and repair work within the whole-of-job scope, including pre-work, preparation of JHAs, organizing materials, execution, testing and completion of tasks.
•    Safely carry out equipment isolations in preparation for maintenance activities
•    Accurately completing documentation, including statutory compliance records, drawing mark-ups and technical reporting.

 

About You
 

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
 
•    Trade Certificate, WA Electrical Workers License.
•    Valid Australian driver’s license.
•    EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights Certificates (desirable).
•    Experience with statutory compliance requirements for Mine Safety and Inspection Act.
•    Experience with commercial kitchen equipment.
•    FIFO Village maintenance and operation background highly (desirable).
•    Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word.
