About the Role

 

As an Engineer Processing, you’ll join a supportive and collaborative Processing team where your ideas and perspective are genuinely valued. You’ll work closely with operators, supervisors and fellow engineers to help the plant run safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Your work will be a mix of hands-on problem solving, data analysis, and longer-term improvement initiatives.

 

In this role, you will:

 

· Monitor plant performance and support safe, reliable day-to-day operations

· Analyse production, quality and recovery data to identify improvement opportunities

· Assist with troubleshooting and help resolve processing challenges

· Contribute to continuous improvement projects across safety, reliability and efficiency

· Support the delivery of plant upgrade initiatives and optimisation work

· Provide clear, supportive insights through reports and technical summaries

· Work collaboratively across teams to strengthen communication and plant understanding

· Participate in incident investigations and assist with implementing corrective actions

· Contribute to risk assessments, safety reviews and compliance requirements

· Engage in professional development, mentoring and learning opportunities

· Help foster an inclusive, respectful and solutions-focused culture

 

 

About You

 

 

You enjoy problem-solving, working with others, and contributing to a positive team environment. You bring a thoughtful, curious and collaborative approach, and you feel confident building strong working relationships.

 

You will bring:

 

· A degree in Chemical, Process, Metallurgical or Minerals Processing Engineering, or a related field

· Progress toward chartership or professional accreditation (desirable but not essential)Skills & Attributes

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret plant and process data

· An approachable communication style and confidence working with a diverse team

· and a willingness to ask questions and learn from others

· A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic operational environment

· Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

· Comfortable using engineering tools and data systems (e.g., Excel, PI, process modelling)

· A practical, solutions-focused approach to technical challenges

· Resilience and a supportive, team-oriented attitude
