About the Role

 

Saraji Mine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic CHPP team. This role is pivotal in driving excellence across our coal preparation and processing facility. •    Lead and optimise coal processing operations to enhance yield, quality, and efficiency.
•    Monitor and analyse plant performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement strategies.
•    Collaborate with teams across mining, maintenance, planning and functions.
•    Ensure compliance with environmental, safety regulations and company standards.
•    Define and execute projects aimed at improving process stability and exceeding safety and performance targets.
•    Be a visible safety leader, fostering a culture of care and operational excellence.
•    Identify and implement improvements to work practices and procedures.
•    Provide technical guidance to production teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.
•    Benchmarking and analysing production processes to ensure stable, predictable performance.
•    Identifying and prioritising opportunities for performance and cost improvements.

 

About You

 

The successful candidate will have previous Coal mining Engineering experience, you are driven and detail oriented with a strong background in mining. 


•    A Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Chemical, or Process Engineering, Applied Science, or Metallurgy.
•    A minimum of 3 years’ experience in coal processing, coal preparation plants, or mineral beneficiation.
•    Strong analytical skills and familiarity with processing plant software and data systems.
•    Proficiency in Power BI and Excel; knowledge of 1SAP, Pi Vision, AMPLA, and Citect is highly advantageous.
•    Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
•    A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
•    A good understanding of process safety systems and technical management of change.
•    A current C Class driver’s licence.
