About the Role

 

BHP is currently seeking passionate Excavator, Loader, and Dozer Operators to join our world-class Production teams for current and upcoming opportunities at Jimblebar.

Successful applicants will have a minimum of two years' mining experience in any of the following roles:

 

  • MineStar Autonomous Field Builder

  • Production Excavator Operator

  • Production Dozer Operator

  • Production Loader Operator

 

Ideally, candidates will also have experience with (but not limited to) the following equipment:

 

  • Liebherr 9400 & 996 Excavators or equivalents

  • CAT D10 or D11 Track Dozers

  • CAT 994 Loader

  • WA1200 Komatsu Loaders

 

About You

 

Reporting to the Mining Supervisor within our Mining teams, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

 

  • A team-oriented mindset, helping to influence and shape a safe, productive, sustainable, and disciplined work culture

  • A positive can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety and improving mining efficiencies

  • A minimum of two years' experience in production mining

  • Computer literacy with experience in MineStar or Modular Fleet Management Systems

  • Experience operating or working as a Field Builder within an Autonomous Mine (highly regarded)

  • Proven experience operating production excavators, dozers, and loaders

  • Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a team-first approach

  • A current unrestricted C Class Driver’s License (essential)
