About the Role
The purpose of the Executive Assistant Joint Ventures (JV) is to coordinate administrative and functional support activities, including the development and fulfillment of work plans, the execution of communications or administrative functions, essential information management practices, and fostering a positive team culture to drive efficiency in all operational team routines.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and support for the development and fulfillment of the Asset President JV and the JV team's work plans.
- Manage the execution of administrative functions and communications.
- Design and carry out essential information management practices, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Develop and communicate information that guides action and decision-making based on both internal company information and JV information.
- Support the management of supplier or customer selection and contracts to optimize operational and financial results and reduce BHP's exposure to risk.
- Identify, engage, integrate, and manage a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Seek information, plan, and conduct analyses to support data-based decision-making.
- Support the implementation and execution of routines contained in BHP's operating system (BOS).
- Implement and evaluate methods, tools, processes, and systems to seek value in each activity carried out within the scope of the role, with a clear strategic direction and focus on change management.
- Apply understanding of the business context, BHP's operating model, and ways of working to improve decision-making, productivity, and value chain performance.
- Leverage and facilitate the use of the capabilities of members across the organization through the scheduling of team routines and activities.
- Strive to achieve 100% in terms of safety and customer value, and 0% in terms of waste.
- Know our internal and external customers, developing relationships of trust and mutual benefit, with the aim of meeting their needs and requirements.
About You
- Technical or Professional education.
- At least 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or functional support.
- Knowledge of office tools (MS Office suite).
- Experience in SAP system (Purchase order generation).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team, interacting with people from different countries, cultures, and ways of working.
- Fluent Spanish and advanced spoken and written English, Portuguese desirable (but not mandatory).
