About the Role

Reporting to the VP of Resource Centre of Excellence (RCoE) and Legacy Assets, you will join an inclusive and strong performance oriented culture, where you will make a difference each day through providing outstanding support to this dynamic, engaging and Global leadership team.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
•    Working closely with the VP RCoE and Legacy Assets, Planner and senior managers to produce deliverables  as required.
•    Travel management including booking, itinerary generation, and support
•    Diary and email management to enable the efficient organization and execution of daily activities.
•    Actively identify improvement opportunities and time optimization solutions to forward plan work and ensure effectiveness of the VP and their leadership team.
•    Consistently optimize forward planning to ensure key focus areas are addressed, preparation is managed, and team/stakeholder engagement are embedded
•    Preparing agendas, presentations, reports, and coordinating meeting logistics. 
•    Using SAP for purchasing (POs/ PRs) and expense reconciliation.
•    Event management with both internal and external stakeholders; and Supporting projects and other ad hoc duties as required.
•    Develops and communicates insights that guide data driven action and decision making.
•    Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
•    Sources information, plans and conducts analyses to support evidence-based decision making.
•    Applies and evaluates change management tools, methods, data, purpose, value, and strategic direction. 
•    Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance. 
•    Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.
•    Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
•    Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.

 

About You

Experienced executive assistant who has previously supported a senior executive, with a proven ability to work autonomously, proactively establish priorities and take responsibility for time sensitive deliverables while keeping and maintaining the upmost confidentiality.

Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills will be an asset - as will your attention to detail, initiative, and talent to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Advocate for leveraging digital technologies to enable collaboration and the simplification of tasks and possess strong knowledge of office suite systems.
