About the Role/s
BHP Olympic Dam, Production teams are now recruiting for Operators who have experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Agricultural.
- Petroleum.
- Oil and gas.
- Civil.
- Quarry.
In addition to the above, you will also need to be experienced in operating at least one of the following machine types.
- Haul trucks.
- Water carts.
- Loaders.
- Graders.
- Dozers.
- Excavators.
- Tractors/Harvesters.
- Skid steer.
- Backhoe.
Please note: These roles will be available from October 2025 onwards.
These positions are available as FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) from Adelaide, DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out), BIBO (Bus-In, Bus-Out), or Residential in Roxby Downs, where a shuttle bus service is provided.

About You!
We’re looking for individuals who:
- Hold of a valid driver’s license and confident driving a manual 4x4 in low range
- Safe Operator committed to personal safety and the safety of others
- Team players who can also work independently
- Displays a strong work ethic, self-motivated, reliable, eager to learn and forge a career in mining in the long term
- Able to work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure.
- Effective listeners with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Competent reading and writing skills.
- Ready to embrace the challenges of a tough but rewarding underground environment
- Positively shape culture in alignment with the BHP Charter Values
