We are currently seeking Experienced Fixed Plant Operations Technicians and Trade Assistants to join our South Australian copper operations at Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and Prominent Hill.

Olympic Dam, located adjacent the township of Roxby Downs, is one of the world's largest integrated mining, smelting and processing operations. Carrapateena is a modern underground copper mine known for its innovation and strong focus on operational excellence. Prominent Hill is a well-established copper-gold operation recognised for its strong safety culture and high-performance teams.

Across all three operations, our experienced technician teams play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable and efficient production outcomes. The Challenge Ahead

Across our Copper SA operations, Fixed Plant Operations Technicians support our facilities both surface and underground and are integral to maintaining safe and productive processing facilities,  Our experienced Trade Assistants support key hubs like our Mobile Fleet, Drill Fleet team and other key trade focussed divisions.

Working within high-performing maintenance and operational teams, you'll support the ongoing performance of world-class mining and processing infrastructure while helping deliver the copper essential to the global energy transition.

Whether contributing to shutdown activities, preventative maintenance programs, equipment inspections or operational support, you'll play a key role in ensuring our fixed plant assets operate safely and efficiently.

What You'll Bring to the Role

We're looking for safety-focused and proactive individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for working in heavy industrial environments.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience working as a Fixed Plant Operator, Operations Technician, Trade Assistant or similar role within mining, minerals processing, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Exposure to crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, materials handling, processing plants or related fixed plant equipment or similar heavy industrial environments
• Strong commitment to safety, risk management and safe work practices.
• Experience assisting tradespeople or supporting maintenance activities within industrial environments.
• Ability to identify equipment defects, hazards and operational issues.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse work groups.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts and site-based schedules.
• Current licences and tickets relevant to heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the safe and efficient operation of fixed plant processing equipment and infrastructure.
• Assisting maintenance teams with planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
• Conducting plant inspections, housekeeping and equipment condition monitoring.
• Identifying and reporting equipment defects, hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Supporting shutdown and maintenance execution activities.
• Contributing to equipment reliability, operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and compliance.
• Collaborating with operations, maintenance and planning teams to achieve production and maintenance targets.
• Accurately recording operational and maintenance activities.

• Week-on, week-off 7/7 rotating day/night roster
• Attractive residential allowances and company housing
• Residential, DIDO or FIFO from Adelaide
• Opportunities across processing, smelter and refinery operations

Carrapateena

• 8/6, 7/7 rotating roster with occasional night shift
• FIFO available from Adelaide or Port Augusta
• Opportunities across processing plant and surface operations

Prominent Hill

• 8/6, 7/7 rotating roster with occasional night shift
• FIFO available from Adelaide or Port Augusta
• Opportunities across processing plant and surface operations
