About the Role
- Study phase schedule development (ie, Opportunity Assessment / Initiation / Identification Phase) in alignment with ‘Our Requirements’ class requirements
- Maintenance and progress updating of current-phase management schedules (ie, Baseline & forecast management).
- Development of future-phase schedules in alignment with ‘Our Requirements – Phase Deliverables’ to support tollgating requirements.
- Strong analytical skillset to ensure schedules are supported with the appropriate level of qualitative information. This includes development of ancillary documentation such as the Basis of Schedule, benchmarking & variance analysis.
- Ability to facilitate and develop schedule ranging requirements in alignment with ‘Our Requirements’ criteria.
- Brings new ideas for functional improvement and transformation.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and other business units to ensure schedules have the appropriate levels of ownership and traceability to Subject Matter Experts (ie, schedules are built collaboratively as opposed to in-isolation).
- Strong stakeholder management skills to create and deliver key messages to various organisational levels.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and scheduling methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
About You
- Owner team mindset when engaging with Engineering Service Providers (ESPs) and third parties.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good rapport with team-members. Conducts personal behaviour in alignment with the business’s Code of Conduct and Charter Values.
Qualifications
- High proficiency in Primavera P6 software.
- Strong MS Excel skills desirable.
- Familiarity with Planview desirable.
- Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in the Mining or a related industry.
- Experience with other Project Management software and tools desirable.
