About the Role
The role purpose is to provide overall project management for HR work stream for Major Capital Projects to ensure delivery of HR study phases.
Act as a PMO for HR Projects to establish and maintain project management standards, processes and best practices. Support team members to deliver on schedule and cost on each of their projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of HR functions and processes.
The accountabilities with the biggest impact are:
• Project Management: Ensuring compliance with the HR Study Phases deliverables and project in-phase activities according to global standards.
• Project Management: Work with the VP Projects to provide early-stage support for projects in IPS (Identification phase study) and to assess the support and resources required for next project phase.
• Stakeholder Management: Ongoing engagement between HR Projects and Asset HRBP to ensure understanding of Asset People Strategy impacts/ considerations to include in study phases and HR study phase deliverables.
• Stakeholder Management: Identifies, engages, and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Makes evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with longer term business objectives.
• Portfolio Management: Plans, tracks the delivery of and manages a project to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes.
• Process Improvement: Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
About You
• Significant experience in a range of HR subfunctions.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on HR projects.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Availability to occasional travels to site according to the project’s requirements.
• Structured and independent, motivated to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Spanish native or fluent.
• Advanced English proficiency is highly desirable.
