About the Role

Reporting to the Global Experience Owner (GEO) Lead for Workforce Enablement, we are looking for an HR System Change Governance Specialist to be responsible for the governance and coordination of HR change requests. 

 

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your current skill set within H2R, gain exposure to HR systems and change activities, and realise personal growth opportunities whilst supporting critical AIP deliverables for BHP. 

 

The role will include:  

 

  • Governance of HR system change requests including Pre-Approved Change Requests (PACR) and Demand Requests which consists of system changes such as enhancements, legal updates and technical upgrades (HR SAP Notes/Support Packs). 
  • Verification of business requirements for HR change requests and coordinating submissions to Technology team.
  • Partnering with HR Functional Integrity, Technology and HR/GBS H2R stakeholders to prioritise and deliver system solutions aligned with the HR roadmap and strategy.
  • Active engagement and collaboration with all stakeholders in the change request management process to ensure safe and timely delivery of system changes.
  • Oversight of Local Change Impact Assessment (LCIA) and Solution Walkthrough sessions to support the effective change management and implementation of HR system changes.
  • Assurance of User Acceptance Test (UAT) results for HR systems change requests and facilitate SME, Experience Owner and System Governance sign-off for system deployments.
  • Conducting Planned Task Confirmation (PTCs) with our HR operations team to ensure process governance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Managing myHR+ site governance activities, including document management and quarterly HR site review.

 

About You

 

  • Have a strong understanding of HR tools, processes and systems, including SAP and Success Factors. 
  • Knowledge in payroll data elements such as SAP Work Schedule Rules, Payroll Wage Types, and Public Holiday Calendars will be an advantage. 
  • Preferred experience in uplifting or implementing an agile framework for predictable and efficient HR System Change.  
  • Strong understanding of Pay Impacting Risks within the System Change context. 
  • Ability to navigate and govern standard work through process mapping (Signavio), Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and Work Instructions (WINs) 
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple and parallel activities, and competing priorities. 
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills including the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Strong process governance skills with continuous improvement experience/mindset.
