About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HV Electrical Tradesperson with strong diagnostic, fault‑finding, repair, and maintenance capabilities to join our Mining Equipment Maintenance team.
This position is FIFO 2/2 from Perth, based at our Area C site in the Pilbara.
You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our high-voltage mobile equipment fleet. Exposure to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, and Atlas Copco equipment is highly regarded but not essential.
- Execute scheduled planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on high-voltage electrical systems and associated equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections, testing, fault-finding, and repairs in line with MEM maintenance strategies and HV procedures
- Complete work orders as per the maintenance schedule, ensuring tasks are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Scope, identify, and create 1SAP notifications for preventative and corrective electrical work
- work methodically, maintain compliance with high-voltage standards, and deliver quality outcomes in a demanding operational environment.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with site, electrical, and high-voltage safety standards
- Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to support continuous improvement and asset reliability
About You
We are looking for a motivated and experienced HV Electrician with demonstrated experience in large‑scale mining equipment maintenance. Your strong diagnostic skills, commitment to safety, and ability to build positive working relationships will make you a great fit for our team. Coaching and mentoring skills will be highly valued.
Successful candidates will hold the following:
- Australia recognised Electrical trade qualification
- WA Electrical Licence
- Demonstrated experience in mine site maintenance of electric haul trucks, dozers, graders, draglines, electric shovels and auxiliary equipment
- Letourneau and Komatsu experience would be highly regarded
- Previous experience within mining is essential
- A strong commitment to safety
- Capability in 1SAP or similar maintenance systems is desirable.
