About the Role

Saraji Mine are seeking capable, and safety‑minded High Voltage Electricians who are ready to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly by carrying out inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on our heavy field mining equipment.

 

Key Duties:

  • Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on surface field mining equipment, including draglines and electric shovels.
  • Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on High Voltage infrastructure and systems.
  • Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs and servicing on surface field equipment.
  • Supporting continuous improvement through proactive problem solving.
  • Contributing to a safe and collaborative team environment.

 

About You

  • A strong commitment to safety and looking out for your teammates
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
  • QLD Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence
  • High Voltage switching qualification and demonstrated experience in HV operations
  • Sound knowledge of electrical safety legislation, standards and isolation procedures
  • Demonstrated prior experience working with draglines/rope shovels and electrical infrastructure.
