About the Role
The GBS H2R Integrations team is at the heart of BHP’s transformation, partnering with our customers to execute enterprise portfolio changes through seamless HR transitions across mergers, acquisitions, and divestments. We are on the search for motivated and capable professionals, to fill a range of vacancies at Specialist, Principal and Lead level.

As a Lead within the GBS H2R Integrations team, you will be instrumental in driving Hire to retire (H2R) integration and separation activities. Your role will focus on strategically aligning activities with BHP’s transformation priorities, driving portfolio change management, and unlocking long-term value. You will lead cross-functional engagements, ensuring smoothing HR transitions that impact employees and stakeholders globally, with a focus on payroll integration and continuity throughout the process.
You will operate in alignment with our BHP Operating System (BOS) ways of working, to drive consistency, structured problem solving, visual management, and standardised routines. By leveraging the Integrations Playbook, you will ensure the execution of projects is both standardised and scalable, helping maintain payroll continuity, risk management, and stakeholder engagement throughout all stages.
Working within a global network of stakeholders including HR, Commercial, Technology, Finance, and Accenture delivery partners—you will oversee the continuous improvement of the Integration Playbook, proactively manage risks and ensure effective tracking and reporting to ensure that payroll processes and other critical HR activities remain compliant during integrations.
As a Principal within the GBS H2R Integrations team, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of integration and separation activities across BHP’s global portfolio. Reporting to the Lead – Integrations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational outcomes, manage change impacts, and create a seamless experience for our employees and stakeholders. With a particular focus on payroll systems and processes, you will help ensure that payroll remains correct and complaint during transitions, actively working to integrate and separate systems and functions without disruptions.
As a Specialist within the GBS H2R Integrations team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of integration and separation activities across BHP’s global portfolio. Reporting to the Lead – Integrations, you will play a key hands-on in the execution of transition activities, ensuring tasks are delivered on time, especially in relation to payroll execution. You will identify risks and ensure they are escalated appropriately, whilst also ensuring our customers’ needs are met. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvements in process management and whilst working closely with stakeholders and broader team members.
Whether at the Lead, Principal or Specialist level, you’ll be immersed in a fast-paced environment where you’ll gain foundational experience in H2R Integrations. You’ll be part of an incredible team that drives change and ensures operational success, with a strong focus on payroll continuity and accuracy throughout the integration journey.

Key skills and experience include:
- Experience in different facets of Human Resources and/or Payroll
- Experience in Change & Risk Management
- Experience in Project Management
- Skilled at using KPIs and visual management tools to track and report progress
- Experience in Stakeholder Management
- Experience using SAP and Success Factors
