About the Role
To accelerate the uplift of BHP’s IAM posture, we require a dedicated in-house IAM Principal Engineer who will provide strategic and technical leadership across all IAM streams. This role will define technical standards, set target state architecture, and drive integrations to strengthen identity security and enable scalable solutions. This role will be based in Gurgaon India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define IAM architecture and technical standards aligned with enterprise security strategy.
- Work horizontally across four IAM streams: User Lifecycle Management, PKI, PAM, Directory Services & Identity Governance (IGA).
- Design and oversee rollout of RBAC and user provisioning from ServiceNow into Saviynt.
- Drive integrations between Saviynt, CyberArk PAM, Microsoft Entra, and other enterprise applications.
- Review and approve IAM solution designs for compliance and scalability.
- Provide escalation-level engineering support for complex IAM issues.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless IAM adoption.
- Develop automation and orchestration for identity workflows and provisioning.
About You
- 7+ years in IAM architecture and engineering roles.
- Expertise in Saviynt IGA, CyberArk PAM, Microsoft Entra ID, and federated identity protocols.
- Strong knowledge of RBAC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, and directory services.
- Experience integrating IAM with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python).
- Proven ability to set technical standards and define target state architectures.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on terchnical capabillity
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Abililty to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions
- CISSP, CISM, or IAM-specific certifications (e.g., CIAM, CyberArk Certified).
- Experience in large-scale IAM taransformations
- Familiarity with zero trust principles and cloud identity security.
