About the Role
Contributes to lead and improve Projects Information Management and develops Systems to support VP Projects strategy and ensure quality of collected data in accordance with Our Requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads Project Information Management process, ensures quality and compliance of VP Projects data.
- Develops and communicates insights that guide data-driven action and decision making.
- Develops/Implements systems and provides guidelines to implement them according to business requirements aligned with key stakeholder standards.
- Develops standardized processes for the area. Ensures its right implementation, with focus on continuous improvement.
- Uses, stores, classifies, assesses and processes data/metadata in alignment with BHPs standards and requirements for data quality management, integrity and governance.
- Wrangles, cleanses and manages data/metadata to maintain the quality and integrity of BHP data and ensure compliance with data security, privacy and legal requirements.
- Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organization.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
- Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.
About You
- Degree or Professional qualification in Engineering, Business or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- At least 5 years of proven experience in related roles.
- Experience in implementing and sustaining Continuous Improvement tools.
- Previous experience leading/coordinating people.
- Demonstrated experience leading system initiatives / projects, ideally in a global environment with high profile stakeholders.
- Experience in stakeholder management in large, complex organizations.
- Exposure to mining is ideal, but experience in other industries that implement systems, document control processes, and manage data.
