About MECoE

About the Role
This exciting newly created role in the MECoE aims to support the business plan by leading the Enterprise Reliability Data (ERD) deployment of our Total Equipment Strategy project.
The primary objective of this role is to improve, centralize, and standardize equipment reliability data across all BHP assets. This effort aims to create a platform that will enhance equipment performance and a data source for new digital technologies.
Your role is to leads the team of specialists that will support the program delivery and deployment. Your critical accountabilities include:
- Assemble a team and develop a knowledge base that promotes trust and engagement across all relevant sections of the BHP organization.
- Utilize suitable equipment strategy development methodologies (e.g., RCM/FMECA) for the systems and data used by the business.
- Ensure data alignment within our Asset Performance Management applications.
- Assist with master data integration into SAP.
- Prepare data for digital work instructions.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Professional engineering degree (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
- Knowledge of maintenance strategies for large projects.
- Experience working in fixed plants.
- Knowledge in the development of Maintenance Strategies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining engagement.
- Experience leading/involving people and creating an environment of trust and collaboration between the various teams.
Location and Roster
This role is for Perth or Adelaide based. You will be working Mon-Fri and some site travel (as require). We encourage team collaboration where our corporate office team are working from office minimum 3 days/week.
