About the Role

 

As Lead Inventory Analysis you will engage and connect with key stakeholders within Minerals Americas, Procurement, Finance, Asset and MECoE to lead the inventory Analysis processes and define the stocking strategies that drives sustainable service level at optimized cost across the assets. They key focus areas during the secondment will be support the team to ensure adherence to our SOPs with special focus on Asset bottleneck performance uplift and strengthen the relation with the operations through VOC routines. 

 

Core Accountabilities 

 

  • Responsible of optimizing the Inventory profile at asset and regional level through managing stocking strategies and analysis of Inventory dashboards and tools.
  • Build collaboration and connectivity between Global materials management team, Value Chain, MECoE, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, Global Materials Management and Operational teams to deliver sustainable service level at the optimized total overall cost.
  • Accountable for compliance with internal controls including Global Standards and Functional level requirements. 
  • Assist Inventory Analysis leadership team and EO to continuously update and improve procedures and Quick Reference Guides (QRG) documentation for the Team. 
  • Ensure local context is met while providing centralized coaching and leadership support. A core focus of this role will be driving world class performance through:  
    • Continuous training, coaching, and upskilling of team.
    • Performance reviews and resolution of competency gaps wherever needed. 
    • Ensure adherence to processes and uphold standard ways of working. 
    • Leadership and oversight of the execution of Strategic MRP activities and analysis. 
    • Frequent engagement with regional stakeholders in understanding the level of service needed and provided by your team. 
    • Management of escalations from team or key stakeholders. 

About You

 

  • Spanish proficiency is preferred but not mandatory
  • Highly motivated professional that likes big challenges, complex problem solving and multiple stakeholder connections and relations.
  • Team player and people orientated. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing capability of individual.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Inventory Management processes
  • Cross functional commercial experience (Maintenance, Purchasing, Procurement, etc).
