About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent, the Lead – EME Execution Team will oversee a team of execution project managers and supervisors, driving the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of earthmoving equipment activities across BMA.
This role is central to maintaining fleet readiness, ensuring equipment compliance, and executing equipment scopes with discipline and consistency. It plays a critical part in sustaining a safe, reliable, and future fit fleet that underpins operational performance.
The Lead – EME Execution Team will role model and uphold BHP’s values — Do What’s Right, Seek Better Ways, and Make a Difference — while enabling strong execution culture across the EME portfolio.
The EME Execution Team Lead will support and execute fleet projects across delivery, commissioning, transfers, rebuilds, and disposals. You will work closely with site teams, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and OEMs to ensure high quality execution outcomes.
This position requires extensive technical knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment, strong understanding of equipment compliance standards, and the ability to lead and influence across operational interfaces.
Regular and frequent travel to site is mandatory to ensure effective oversight and field engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate execution of earthmoving equipment activities across multiple sites
• Maintain full compliance with safety, regulatory, and OEM requirements across the fleet.
• Oversee equipment delivery, commissioning, rebuilds, transfers, and disposal processes.
• Work with operational teams to resolve equipment issues and support risk mitigation.
• Provide technical assurance and maintain governance documentation to required standards.
• Support execution readiness and continuous improvement opportunities across the EME portfolio.
• Prepare reporting and updates for the key stakeholders.
About You
• Extensive technical knowledge heavy mining equipment.
• Strong grounding in equipment compliance, documentation, and assurance frameworks.
• Proven experience in mining, heavy industry, or large scale maintenance environments.
• Ability to lead execution activities and influence across multiple functions and locations.
• Strong communication, planning, and problem solving capability.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to operational sites (high site presence required).
