About the Role
Leads a team focused on the provision of project controls (e.g. scope, estimated/actual cost, planning and scheduling, budgets, changes, progress, forecasting and risk) to influence the on-time and on-budget delivery of project objectives. Coaches and develops team leaders / teams to deliver high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with Development / Delivery Leads on scope of project PC&A services, and ensures delivery in accordance with agreed PC&A Plan.
- Oversight of delivery of cost and schedule management for projects and programs that includes preparation of reports for both schedule and cost including assurance.
- Verifies the implementation of Project Services methodologies, strategies and systems for a project.
- Supervises the daily activities of Project Controls Team in an assigned area. Typically does not perform the work being supervised, but integral in motivating and supporting team to achieve superior results.
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
- Validates project progress and performance information data is collected and aggregated for monthly reporting, including quality checks and compliance against corporate guidelines.
- Leads, coaches, and mentors team members to ensure delivery against individual and project performance targets.
- Actively seeks and support continuous improvement in work processes.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Business (Finance or Accounting), Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Practical experience in a project environment focused on project controls or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in managing processes, systems and tools for use on a project or portfolio of projects.
- Demonstrated experience with project management systems and techniques.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
