About the Role
As a Lead Project Delivery - you will be working as part of the Autonomous Haulage Team reporting to the Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will work as an Integration Lead supporting the Delivery Team and contracting partners for the successfully deliver of project work packages, commissioning, operational readiness and integration with existing operational improvement activities.
This role is site-based FIFO from Perth on a 5D2X 4DX3 roster or a variation of. The opportunity to work this roster flexibly is also available.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
• Creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing, and coaching your team.
• Execution of the planning and engagement process for each new phase of the project rollout on site
• Management of the project interfaces with various support teams internal and external to the project, the operation and contracting vendors
• Oversight and coordination of the site based integrated testing – including management of testing resources, test planning and test evidence collection
• Development and execution of transition to operations, and ramp up plans
• Provide inputs into operational plans, budgets, and targets to ensure and safe and efficient handover
• Identify and addresses potential risks and opportunities for value creation
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve project efficiency, productivity and mitigate risks.
About You
You will be an individual who is self-motivated, fosters strong working relationships and will have the opportunity to utilise your advanced engagement and collaboration skills in managing stakeholder relationships. You will have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and a high standard of oral and written communication skills.
Your experience includes:
• Qualification in business administration, engineering, project management or similar discipline highly desirable
• Demonstrated people management skills. The ability coach and to foster a learning environment, actively seek and provide development opportunities for employees aligned with regular performance feedback
• Demonstrated people engagement skills and the ability foster a collaborative environment
• Experience in applying your strengths in analysis and problem solving to develop business solutions and provide opportunities for improvement
• Demonstrate ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple deliverables across stakeholders
• Previous experience in similar roles such as, project lead, program lead, delivery lead, business improvement consultant, highly desirable
• Knowledge of mining processes or previous exposure to a mining environment highly desirable
