About The Role

 

We are currently seeking two dynamic Leads Project Delivery for our Nickel West Leinster operation to lead our Electrical and Mechanical execution teams, responsible for the management and delivery of capital projects. Secondary activities include involvement in operational system strategies and operational project / modifications.  
These roles are on offer on a fly in fly out 5/3/4/2 roster. Flexible working options will also be considered.


Your responsibilities will also include:


• Provide fit for purpose management skills utilizing small and medium project management frameworks based on sound project management practices
• Manage the assigned projects through all phases (Initiation, Identification, Selection, Definition and Execution) with focus on electrical scope development for: trade-off study, detailed designs and execution work.
• Complete designs and/or design reviews as required
• Manage, mentor and train execution team of internal and external service providers (EPCM team and project owners) to deliver multiple projects.

Nickel West Leinster

 

Nickel West Leinster is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.  The operation sources nickel ore from various ore bodies before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate.  The Leinster Village and Township offer a unique lifestyle with conveniences – an Olympic size swimming pool, health and fitness centre and various sporting facilities.  Employees can stay residential or commute to and from Perth on a fly in / fly out 5/3/4/2 roster or from regional areas on a drive in / drive out roster.

 

Nickel West Mt Keith


Nickel West Mt Keith is located 460 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in the Northern Goldfields.  Nickel West Mt Keith is a surface mining operation with an open pit and concentrator plant.  The operation is surrounded by pastoral stations, with the nearest townships being Leinster and Wiluna.  The Mt Keith Village has immunities including pool, gym, tennis court, action cricket and footy exercise area.  BBQ dinners are regularly held and other social activities. 

 

About You

 

These roles would suit tenacious and driven individuals that have proven experience in the delivery of small to medium projects in the resources industry, especially in brownfield operations, coupled with  technical engineering design experience across Mechanical and/or Electrical Discipline with good working knowledge in dealing with multi discipline projects.


You will have the ability to engage and influence effectively to achieve results with well-developed projects process and financial acumen in order to effectively promote and guide project value propositions.
