 About the Role

 

Olympic Dam is one of the world's most significant deposits of copper, gold, and uranium. Located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide, Olympic Dam is made up of underground and surface operations and operates a fully integrated processing facility from ore to metal.

 

We currently have multiple exciting opportunities available for safety-focused Light Vehicle Mechanics to join the team.

 

Working in a surface workshop environment on a 7/7 day/night roster, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and diagnostics of the Toyota Landcruiser fleet.

 

FIFO from Adelaide, DIDO from Regional SA within proximity to Roxby Downs SA, and Bus Service to the town of Roxby Downs SA.

 

You will be responsible for basic maintenance on land cruisers including:

 

  • Carrying out inspections according to documented maintenance procedures and instructions
  • Undertaking housekeeping as required
  • Participating in safe start and other operational meetings as required
  • Having a willingness to undertake training as required

 

 

About You

 

  • Proven experience with the maintenance of light vehicles
  • Relevant Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Experience with Toyota Landcruiser would be advantageous, however not essential
  • Keen to learn, a willingness of self-improvement and ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
