About the Role

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Continuous Improvement Specialist to support operational excellence across our business. This role plays a critical part in identifying improvement opportunities, leading optimisation projects, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement that delivers sustainable business outcomes.

Working closely with operational leaders and frontline teams, you will use data-driven insights and improvement methodologies to enhance safety, productivity, cost performance, and process efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across operational and support functions.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and business risks.
  • Lead improvement projects from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Support leaders and teams in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain improvement dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate workshops, root cause analyses, and value stream mapping sessions.
  • Build improvement capability within teams through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project outcomes, savings, and operational performance improvements.
  • Champion a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous learning.

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Improvement, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects and change initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication and facilitation capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for driving sustainable change.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline (desirable).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (desirable).
