About the Role

 

Reporting to the Production Supervisor at Saraji Mine, you will be an integral part of the Load and Haul team. As a Load and Haul Operator, you will operate a range of heavy mobile equipment to support the safe and efficient movement of overburden and coal.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

•    Safely operate heavy mining equipment including trucks, dozers, graders, and excavators within operational parameters.
•    Contribute to achieving daily production targets in a team-focused environment.
•    Complete pre-start checks and adhere to all site safety standards and procedures.
•    Work collaboratively with supervisors, dispatch, and maintenance teams.
•    Demonstrate commitment to BMA’s safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 

About You

 

 

Previous experience in Load and Haul Coal Mining and or Pre-strip as well as to be successful in this role, you will have:

 


•    Proven experience operating HME in a large-scale open-cut mining environment.
•    Competency and skill on at least two of the following: D10/D11 dozers, 16M graders, or equivalent.
•    A current Standard 11 Statement of Attainment and Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain).
•    A strong commitment to safety and working in a team-oriented environment.
