About the Role
The Saraji coal mine is a part of BMA, located near Dysart in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people. It is one of Australia's largest mines, by recoverable coal reserves.

As a Load and Haul Supervisor you will lead a successful crew at one of Australia’s premier coal operations. As part of our production leadership team, you’ll oversee daily load and haul activities – ensuring targets are met, safety is prioritised, and your crew are motivated to deliver outstanding results.
• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of load and haul operations across multiple fleets (trucks, excavators, dozers).
• Drive a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor operational performance, respond to challenges in real time, and keep production on track.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to a crew of operators and leading hands.
About You
We are seeking previous experience as a Load and Haul Supervisor within the Coal Mining industry,
• Proven experience in a similar mining supervisor or leading hand role in open-cut coal.
• Strong understanding of load and haul equipment, productivity drivers, and safety regulations.
• Confident leader with the ability to inspire, engage and hold a team accountable.
• Relevant S1, S2, S3 & G2 (or willingness to obtain).
• Sound communication and decision-making under pressure.
