About The Role
Caval Ridge is in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people.
Reporting directly to the Superintendent Maintenance Field, this role is responsible for the planning, scheduling and resourcing of Mechanical maintenance work across Caval Ridge.
This position works a 4-3 (Mon-Thurs) roster and offers Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) from Brisbane or Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) options.
Key Responsibilities
• Planning, scheduling and resourcing for the mechanical maintenance team
• Coordination of Mechanical maintenance work with multiple internal stakeholders
• Timely data collation, analysis and sharing of key work management metrics
• Build capability through coaching, mentoring and provide technical advice and support to maintenance supervisors
• Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities
• Lead safety investigations and risk assessments
About You
- Experience in detailed scoping and maintenance planning for multi-disciplined workgroups operating in a Dragline / Electric Rope Shovel Maintenance environment is essential.
- Experience gained in a Dragline Shutdown environment would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results through using your influence.
- The ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment and build effective working relationships
- Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Minimum of C class manual drivers licence.
