About the Role
We are looking for Spence Minning, Manager Integrated Services position, who will provides leadership to teams for the management of all non-process infrastructure and associated services, and provision of all required in-bound and out-bound logistics for Spence. Translates strategy into operational plans for the department, ensuring operational continuity for Spence operations.
Main Responsabilities
- Planning and execution of the following activities to ensure the delivery of continuous, safe operations:
(1) management of non-process infrastructure and associated services (including camp facilities, catering and internal transportation, power systems, potable water and fire protection systems and integrated site operational services); and
(2) all in-bound logistics (including consumables, general and oversize cargo), warehousing and out-bound logistics (for transport and export of finished goods). - Implement, maintain and continuously improve health, safety and environmental standards. Identifies/manages hazards and complies with applicable standards, regulatory requirements and procedures to guarantee safety and safeguard operating outcomes.
- Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
- Apply end-to-end supply chain understanding, partnering within the operation and with marketing teams to ensure the safe delivery of our products, on time and within specification, to our end customers.
- Apply the BHP Operating System to achieve breakthrough performance, continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Integrated Services, and maximizing value for Spence.
- Analyse strategic options and projects within the area of responsibility, delivering required capital investments in the area over the short and medium term.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organization, empowering and developing individuals and teams.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
- Knows the customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.
About You
- 10 years´ experience in operational roles leading large teams, with demonstrated capability in supply chain, infrastructure and/or service provision preferred.
- University degree in a relevant field (including STEM, finance or commercial disciplines).
- Leadership capacity in the BHP Operating System, Toyota Production System or equivalent lean methodologies/operating models.
- Experience in capital or strategic projects associated with mining, supply chain or infrastructure an advantage.
- Fluency in Spanish, with advanced English level.
