About the Role
Este rol, tendrá la misión de impulsar mejoras medibles y sostenibles en el desempeño de mantenimiento de las operaciones de Minerals Americas, mediante una conexión permanente con los Assets, una comprensión profunda del contexto de mantenimiento y la conversión de datos corporativos y conocimiento operativo en decisiones y acciones priorizadas con captura de valor. Lidera el sistema regional de performance (reportes semanales, mensuales y quarterlies), trabajando de forma integrada con los equipos globales de Performance & Data Analytics y Modelling, Analytics & Diagnostics, asegurando la adopción efectiva de estándares, métricas y prácticas en las operaciones.
Responsabilidades Principales
- Comprender y aplicar el sistema de mantenimiento de BHP y MECoE, incluyendo Work Management, confiabilidad, gestión de equipos y restricciones reales de ejecución.
- Liderar el equipo regional de Performance, responsable de la elaboración, análisis y comunicación de reportes de desempeño.
- Facilitar rutinas de Managing Asset Performance (MAP) y Quarterlies, consolidando brechas, riesgos, oportunidades y planes de acción.
- Identificar y escalar factores de desempeño en riesgo, asegurando seguimiento de compromisos hasta la captura efectiva de valor.
- Traducir la realidad operativa en prioridades claras, factibles y secuenciadas de implementación.
- Mantener y gestionar la cartera regional de oportunidades, habilitando la ejecución con Operaciones y reportando beneficios en desempeño, costo y riesgo.
- Alinear prioridades con Presidentes y Gerencias de Activos, y con la estrategia de Mantenimiento & Ingeniería.
- Elaborar materiales para comités de decisión (SteerCo / Ejecutivos), asegurando trazabilidad de supuestos, escenarios y recomendaciones.
- Realizar presentaciones efectivas a audiencias técnicas y ejecutivas (Regional y Asset Presidents), articulando trade-offs y decisiones recomendadas.
- Definir problem statements regionales, requerimientos y supuestos para modelos analíticos; consumir y aterrizar soluciones globales en los activos de MinAm.
- Coordinar la preparación y uso de escenarios, predicciones y diagnósticos analíticos en decisiones ejecutivas.
- Asegurar la aplicación consistente de métricas y estándares globales (definiciones, cálculos y comparabilidad) en Minerals Americas.
- Trabajar con Data Owners, Data Stewards y analistas para asegurar datos confiables, precisos y oportunos.
About You
- Título profesional en Ingeniería Civil Industrial, Ingeniería Civil con Especialidad, o carrera afín.
- MBA o estudios de postgrado (deseable).
- Mínimo 10 años de experiencia profesional.
- Experiencia en roles de gerente de mantenimiento, gestión de activos o roles similares en la industria minera.
- Experiencia liderando equipos de trabajo, con múltiples stakeholders nacionales e internacionales.
- Sólidas habilidades de comunicación y presentación, con capacidad para explicar conceptos complejos a audiencias no especialistas.
- Tener pensamiento estratégico y sistémico.
- Conocimiento y experiencia en mejora continua y excelencia operacional.
- Dominio fluido de español e inglés.
