Acerca del Rol
El rol de Manager de Producción NPI es responsable de liderar y asegurar la operación segura, eficiente y confiable de Planta Desaladora, la operación del Tranque de Relaves y el Suministro eléctrico que dan soporte a las operaciones productivas de Escondida.
Este rol garantiza la continuidad operacional de procesos críticos, optimizando el uso de la infraestructura no productiva y gestionando equipos multidisciplinarios. Su propósito es mantener la estabilidad de los sistemas que habilitan las operaciones mineras, mediante prácticas de excelencia operacional, confiabilidad, integridad de activos y mejora continua bajo el modelo BHP Operating System (BOS).
El Gerente de Producción NPI permite que Escondida opere de forma estable y sostenible al asegurar:
- Agua para procesos productivos.
- Disposición segura y eficiente de relaves.
- Energía confiable para todas las áreas del asset.
- Integridad física y continuidad operacional de infraestructura mayor.
- Cumplimiento de la ambición 2030
Principales Responsabilidades:
- Seguridad, HSEC y Gestión de Riesgos.
- Operación de Plantas Desaladoras.
- Gestión del Tranque de Relaves.
- Suministro Energético a Procesos Productivos.
- Integridad de Activos y Mantenimiento.
- Mejora Continua y Optimización Operacional.
- Liderazgo, Equipos y Capacidad Organizacional.
Acerca de Ti
- Título en Ingeniería (Mecánica, Química, Eléctrica, Minas, Metalurgia, Industrial u afín).
- Deseable postgrado o MBA en gestión de operaciones, confiabilidad o liderazgo.
- 10+ años de experiencia en minería o infraestructura industrial compleja.
- Al menos 5 años liderando equipos en funciones relacionadas con plantas de procesos, relaves y/o energía.
- Conocimiento sólido en: Sistemas de producción de agua / desaladoras, Operación de tranques de relaves, Distribución y suministro energético, Confiabilidad de activos críticos, Sistemas de control y automatización.
- Experiencia demostrada en mejora continua (BOS, Lean, RCA).
- Competencias Clave:
-Liderazgo colaborativo y enfoque en equipos multidisciplinarios.
-Capacidad para gestionar riesgos complejos e infraestructura estratégica.
-Toma de decisiones basada en datos y sistemas digitales.
-Alta orientación a la continuidad operacional y resiliencia de procesos.
-Inglés intermedio/avanzado deseable (interacción con stakeholders globales). - Condiciones
-Turno 4x3 en faena - Coloso Antofagasta.
