About the Role

 

We are seeking an engaging and capable leader to join West Musgrave.    

 

This is a unique opportunity to lead a diverse team while gaining broad exposure across operations, stakeholder engagement, commercial decision-making and the future direction of a significant asset. Whether you're an experienced Superintendent ready for your next step or a leader looking to expand your experience, this role offers the chance to make a genuine impact.

 

Leading a small team during a pivotal period for the project, you will work closely with employees, contractors, community representatives and internal stakeholders to maintain site readiness, strengthen relationships and support future opportunities for West Musgrave.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

•    Leading and supporting a small, high-performing team in a remote environment.
•    Building strong relationships with the Ngaanyatjarra people and local communities.
•    Maintaining safe and reliable site operations during temporary suspension.
•    Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, including potential bidder site visits.
•    Developing an understanding of the mine plan, processing flowsheet and site infrastructure.
•    Contributing to strategic and commercial initiatives that support the future of the asset.
•    Working on an 8/6 FIFO roster.

About You

 

You are a people-focused leader who enjoys building relationships, developing teams and working collaboratively to solve problems. You bring a balanced approach to leadership, combining operational understanding with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.You thrive in dynamic environments, are comfortable navigating change and enjoy working with a diverse range of people to achieve positive outcomes.

A background in production or processing would be beneficial; however, we also welcome applications from leaders with strong commercial, operational or stakeholder management experience who are eager to broaden their exposure and make a meaningful contribution to the future of West Musgrave.
