About the Role
Reporting to the 8/6 Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for executing a planned weekly maintenance schedule on fixed plant machines and other equipment. You will be actively involved in
executing work in PM outages and you will be actively involved in executing planned and emergent work in Shutdowns as a team to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our assets.
Your duties will include:
• Undertaking preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with maintenance planning systems and recommending appropriate follow-up action
• Working from hydraulic schematic drawings, prints, plans or manuals
• Carrying out all activities within the whole-of-job scope, including pre-work, preparation of JHAs
• and/or DWPs, organizing materials, execution, testing and completion of tasks.
• Be self-directed, ensuring that operating and maintenance targets are achieved.
• Capture and provide feedback to Supervisor on any identified non-conformance issues.
• Build relationships across functions to achieve positive working environment for task execution
• Maintain 1SAP Work Management processes for assigned Main Work Centre
• Identify, report and rectify hazards
• Actively drive continues improvement and embed lessons learnt from execution
• Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coach field leadership activities
• Ensure conformance with the BHP, Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate (Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker)
- Minimum of C class Manual Driver’s License.
- Breakdown/Fault finding experience.
- Maintenance experience in heavy fixed plant with general fabrication and welding. (Highly
- Desirable but not essential).
- HRWL, Rigging (Basic), EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space training and current MSIC.
