About the role

 

We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Reliability Engineer based in South Flank on a FIFO 5:2, 4:3 or 8:6 roster.

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Provide important input towards a high achieving Fixed Plant Maintenance team
  • Engage in daily safety activities and discussions to promote achievement of personal and team safety goals
  • Investigate key reliability data to identify and implement optimisation/improvements to constantly improve plant reliability and help our in-house customers to achieve business goals
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis investigations on breakdowns to eliminate defects
  • Manages wear material performance and optimisation across transfer chutes, screenhouse building and vibrating equipment
  • Coach and participate in high value improvement projects
  • Manage the lifecycle of equipment by ensuring the effectiveness of strategies including offsite repairs and manage the integrity of equipment data and records
  • Provide day to day support to maintenance execution on technical queries relating to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting

 

About You

 

 To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • A degree in Engineering
  • Proven experience in supporting small projects
  • Experience with SAP
  • Proven problem solving skills with Reliability Engineering concepts and with experience of using tools such as FMEA, RCA, or similar
  • Strong working experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering in Mining or Oil and Gas industry
  • Have a strong experience in Work Management and Material Master Data Management particularly in the SAP environment
  • Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and WA Mines Regulations
  • Demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in ‘Safety"
