About the Role


Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter with a focus on safety , hardworking and willing to learn. Work well in a team environment and independently . Preferred experience in a mining maintenance team. Experience with all OHP equipment ( Vibrating screens, vibrating feeders, conveyor systems, apron feeders , hydraulic systems, pumps , stackers and reclaimers , Cone crushers and gyratory crushers, gearboxes etc)

About You


As the successful candidate you will possess the following:


  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Previous experience working as an Mechanical Technician in a mining environment;
  • High Risk Licence (EWP, Forklift, Dogging and Rigging) desirable;
  • 1SAP experience
  • Working at heights
  • Confined space
  • Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments;
  • The ability to work methodically and remain calm and  focused in a busy and dynamic work environment;
  • Demonstrate Strong problem solving skills;
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
