About the Role
Opportunities are currently available at our Goonyella Riverside Mine for Coal Multi Skilled Operators within out Mine Services team. Reporting to the Supervisor these opportunities are for entry level Mine Services Operators looking to expand their skills et.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a range of equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, and haul trucks to assist with coal mining operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Assist in the transportation of materials and waste within the mine site.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist in other mine operations as required.
• Proven experience operating heavy machinery and equipment in a mining environment.
About you
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator with experience in coal mine services to operate various equipment and support daily operations within our coal mine facilities. The ideal candidate will be versatile, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced and safety-conscious environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and industry best practices.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
