About the Role

We are currently seeking General Service Miners to join the Underground Mine Development team.  

 

In this role you will support safe and efficient mine development activities through the:-

 

  • Installation and maintenance of mine services piping
  • Installation and management of development dewatering pumps and pipes
  • Installation and maintenance of secondary ventilation ducting
  • Completion of cable bolt plating and ground support QAQC activities
  • Completion of general activities as required

About You

 

  • Proven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harm’s way
  • Able to follow relevant processes and procedures
  • A team player working collaboratively within your team to achieve results
  • Be self-motivated and able to effectively plan and organise required work  
  • Willing to learn and contribute to promoting a supportive and positive team culture
  • A valid driver’s licence with the ability to safely drive a manual vehicle
  • Underground experience is preferred

 

 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead positive change and support continued improvement. You will have an absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards, mine working procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.
