About the Role


BHP is currently looking to connect with experienced and emerging Supervisors keen to join our world-class Production teams either now or in the near future. Having the right people working within our organisation focusing on production and ensuring equipment availability will allow us to unlock the value of our assets.


Available opportunities span across various BHP sites including Iron Ore, Nickel, Copper, Uranium and more with a wide range of roster and working model options including residential, FIFO and DIDO to suit your lifestyle requirements.


We are seeking interest from experienced people leaders to work across our Production Division across various specialties including, but not limited to, Fixed Plant, Mobile Plant, Processing, Load & Haul, Autonomous Haulage, Development, Drill & Blast, Underground, Rail, Port and general Mine Production Operations.

As a Supervisor, you will have strong leadership skills and have the ability to positively influence our safety culture.  Your ability to lead by example, be proactive and prioritise Field Leadership activities will be critical to your success.



About You

To liaise with a variety of stakeholders, it is important you are a confident verbal and written communicator. In addition, your strong problem solving skills as well as a high level of motivation and drive will assure you are able to support your team in identifying and delivering projects to optimise our operation in terms of Safety, Volume, Cost and Culture.

  • Have previous experience working in a supervisory or people leadership role;
  • Experience in mining, heavy industry or a relevant transferable industry is desirable;
  • “C" Class manual driver’s licence or national equivalent.
