About BHP Copper SA

 

One of Australia’s largest mines and a complex minerals processing operation, Olympic Dam is unique in that we produce Copper, Uranium, Gold and Silver. The local township of Roxby Downs is an active and progressive community offering a variety of modern, well-equipped housing, educational, health, sporting, leisure, shopping and cultural facilities. 

About the Role

 

This role will be focused on the management, development and deployment of online and digital training across Copper SA. You will lead the design and development of digital learning solutions that enhance the skills, knowledge, and professional development of our people. You will work alongside training development specialists, facilitators and internal customers on large scale learning projects.

 

 

This role is based in Adelaide on a Monday – Friday roster.  

 

 

Key accountabilities of the role;

 

  • Design, develop, review, adapt and enhance engaging, visually appealing and user-friendly self-paced e-learning content.
  • Project manage and deliver multiple end-to-end digital projects by balancing priorities and working to strict deadlines.
  • Create, curate, analyse and incorporate additional multimedia resources (videos, audio files, posters, reports, guides etc.) to augment the learning experience.
  • Design and develop assessments, knowledge checks and practical application activities, including model answers and feedback for learners.
  • Act as a learning consultant between internal subject matter experts and external vendors to develop e-learning projects.
  • Act as an advocate for digital learning by keeping abreast of new research, technologies and industry-led initiatives. 

About You

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia, or Education is essential.
  • Experience in learning design and in particular e-learning development, preferably within large multinational organisations. Experience in producing e-learning with rapid development publishing tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, or Lectora is essential.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems - SAP SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
  • Experience using Extended Reality (XR) technology within a training environment: Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) is highly desirable.
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation.
  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging learning content.
  • Passionate in creating impactful learning experiences and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of project management and stakeholder management.
