BMA have multiple opportunities within our Operating System Improvement team for both Leads and Coaches across multiple BMA sites.

known as the BHP Operating System (BOS). It is the next step in our continuous improvement journey and a critical part of our transformation that will shape BHP’s future and build a better BHP with a more empowering culture.  

 

About the Role

 

The BHP Operating System fundamentally changes how we think and behave at BHP and is founded on three core principles: Serve Our Customer, Pursue Operating Perfection & Empower Our People

 

  • Experience coaching BOS and/or leading and coaching in a BOS way as a line leader (Superintendent level and above)
  • Collate and present analytical data
  • Critical thinking in relation to workplace systems and processes and identify safety
  • Experience implementing and sustaining Operating System Improvement tools (including 5S, standardised work, leader standard work, A3 problem solving, value stream mapping, visual management, and ‘Go and Sees’ etc).
  • Accredited across all required BOS training modules

 

About you

 

Previous improvement experience at a leadership level within mining is highly recommended:

 

  • Experience in analysing and improving performance
  • A problem-solving mindset
  • Positive collaboration and communication with senior leaders
  • Project management experience within the resourcing industry
  • Extensive level of analysing data and ability to present findings
