About Mt Arthur Coal

 

Mt Arthur Coal is an open-cut coal mine 100 per cent owned by BHP. Located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales it's the largest producer of energy coal in the region, operating alongside olive growers, wine makers, horse breeders and the nearby residential community of Muswellbrook.
Our greatest asset is and has always been our people and communities, which is why we are committed to working together on our Pathway to 2030 - a program to responsibly close Mt Arthur Coal. About the Role

In this role you will:

 

  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
  • Manage the haul fleet effectively and efficiently
  • Maximise equipment productivity and efficiency in alignment with mine and maintenance plans
  • Maintain the integrity of the mine model by ensuring virtual road network replicates the physical road network
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships through effective communication and engagement with leaders, team members, and site personnel

 

About You

 

  • Experience with Modular Dispatch Systems preferred, or similar dispatch system
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • High level of computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Collaborative approach with strong influencing and engagement skills
  • Strategic and forward thinking with the ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • A strong communicator and Team player, confident in collaborating with stakeholders across departments

Mt Arthur Coal is progressing toward a planned cessation of mining in 2030, with a clear focus on responsible operations, safe delivery and thoughtful transition planning.
