About the Role
We currently have four opportunities to join our operational teams based in Carrapateena, Olympic Dam and Prominent Hill. In this role you are reporting to the Superintendent Health & Emergency Services per operation. Your primary responsibility is to provide injury and illness management treatment and advice to the onsite workforce. It will be important that you have a growth mindset, the ability to work in a team, make quick strong connections and can integrate into a team with confidence.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support the delivery of Copper SA Injury and Illness Management and Muscular Disorder Prevention requirements.
- Evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of works who have a work-related or non-work-related injury, or who have experienced a work-debilitating illnesses
- Conducting assessments such as workplace assessments and ergonomics.
- Supporting remotely via telehealth when required
- Complete behavioral-based Field Leadership observations, offering support and technical guidance to positively influence our culture of care.
About You
- To be successful, you must hold a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent), full AHPRA general registration, with previous experience in a similar position being beneficial and not essential.
- Candidates with 3+ years of musculoskeletal experience will be held in high regard.
- A passion for preventative health and wellbeing
- Strong system and technology background is recommended
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
- An understanding of OSHA recording requirements is desirable.
- Capability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders both internally and externally
Location and Roster
There are 4 roles available in in this campaign.
2 roles are available at Olympic Dam on 7 days on, 7 days off roster working 12 hours days. This roster is available for candidates residentially in Roxby Downs or DIDO/FIFO utilising the Olympic Dam camps.
1 role is available at Prominent Hill on 4 days on, 3 days off, 5 days on, 2 days off roster working 12 hours days. This roster is available on a DIDO/FIFO roster with camp accommodation.
1 role is available at Carrapateena on 4 days on, 3 days off, 5 days on, 2 days off roster working 12 hours days. This roster is available on a DIDO/FIFO roster with camp accommodation.
