BHP's Western Australia Iron Ore (WAIO) Integrated Operation Team are the coming together of a dedicated, innovative team focused on identifying, achieving, and maintaining the highest standards in maintenance for BHP’s WAIO. About the Role

 

This role will be performed from our Perth Office supported by the latest technology to engage with our WAIO sites. 

 

Reporting to a Superintendent Planning and Asset Health Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), you will be responsible for:

 

  • Ensuring a high standard and monitoring of weekly work management processes
  • Reviewing work plans to ensure sequencing within plans is correct and supports the broader team
  • Delivering sequenced work packages for complex maintenance activities
  • Planning work in accordance with the 1SAP work management process
  • Communication and building solid relationships with key stakeholders to embed process discipline
  • Monitoring all contractor work activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of resources
  • Plans, schedules, executes and reviews maintenance work orders and activities to maximise efficient production 
  • Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation
  • Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste
  • Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs

About You

 

As a successful candidate you will possess the following: 

  • Demonstrated hands on planning and scheduling skills and an understanding of work management processes
  • A trade or engineering background with strong project management capabilities would be advantageous
  • Technical knowledge of Rail Networks and Rail Assets would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a number of key stakeholders
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of condition monitoring and asset health principles

 

Location and Roster


 
This role will be Perth office base with site travel quarterly to maintain customer engagement. You will be working Monday-Friday roster.
