About the Role

 

We are seeking a passionate and proactive individual to join our high-performing team, reporting to the Maintenance Coordination Superintendent at Port Hedland the role responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Responsible for Main Work Centre ownership of scaffolding contractor teams and cranes.
  • Provide Maintenance engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE) with detailed scops to ensure work orders are planned and resourced effectively
  • Work order creation
  • Review weekly schedules
  • Execute in-field inspections to ensure compliance with procedures
  • Identify and develop improvement initiatives related to crane and scaffolding
  • Own and maintain scaffold register
  • Review Australian standards, legislation etc... relevant to scaffolding and industry standards

 

For shutdowns:

 

  • Liaise with vendors to organise ad hoc labour when there are shortages for both shutdown & weekly work
  • Assist with the planning and resourcing of late work and complex shutdown work
  • Review shutdown handovers and labour requests to assess gaps and escalate if required
  • Address any equipment constraints with vendors

 

Based at Port Hedland on a 5:2 roster with an option to be residential or FIy in - Fly out from Perth.

 

About You

 

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills with an ability to influence at multiple levels with both internal and external parties
  • Awareness or experience with SAP work management
  • Operational and site experience as well as scaffold & crane experience
  • Experience with managing teams
  • Enjoy solving multi-faceted problems, taking ownership of ideas/solutions and seeing them through to maturity with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
