About the Role

 

In this role you will provide technical expertise in the development, evaluation, recommendation and delivery of projects strategy and medium to long term plans, including Corporate Alignment Planning inputs and strategic risk management artefacts.

 

As part of this role you will

 

  • Frame, evaluate and communicate the risk-reward proposition of strategies, plans and decisions; improve investment methodologies, processes, capabilities and culture to enhance investment decision quality, to maximize the long-term value of BHP.  

  • Identify areas for process improvement and redesign processes accordingly.  

  • Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, communicating, managing and analyzing the implementation of those plans, and reporting back on their progress to facilitate the delivery of our strategy.  

  • Identify, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders.  

  • Plan & tracks the delivery of improvement initiatives to generate value and drive the achievement of program outcomes.  

  • Conduct presentations and facilitates workshops using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience.  

  • Define value drivers and determines the boundaries of an opportunity to determine if it is worth further investment.  

  • Apply an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.  

 

 

 

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in finance, engineering or a related discipline 
  • Experience completing CAP cycle process and deliverables for an Asset or Function, familiarity with Corporate Planning stakeholders
  • Knowledge of financial planning and reporting processes
  • Understanding of Risk Management Framework
  • Previous experience on SAP, Prime, SAC, GRC
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
