The Principal Contracts will be focussed on ensuring the execution of safe operational objectives are met, liaising between BHP and our employees, our contract partners and their workforce including sub-contractors and independent contractors. Coaches and develops team leaders / teams to deliver high performance.

 

Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)
Roster: 5 days on; 2 days off; 4 days on; 3 days off (Flexible options available)

In The Role You Will:

  • Demonstrate and instil an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enable coaching, alignment, compliance with & the continual improvement of Contract Management through BHP’s Contract Management Framework (CMF)
  • Facilitate the development, implementation and maintenance of common standards including improvements to processes and systems.

  • Desirable to understand legislation surrounding contractor management in mining.
  • Desirable to have experience in maintenance execution, mining or contractor management.
