About the Role

 

This role reports to the Delivery Manager and supports initiation, development and execution of sub-domain portfolio initiatives. It is designed for a high-performing, adaptive individual who thrives on solving complex problems and driving impactful change across wide-range of stakeholders. Through asset centricity and obsession with value delivery, the role is responsible for consistent and structured delivery across lifecycles of projects, to drive adoption, strengthen process design, and build governance maturity across the portfolio.

 

Key accountabilities include:  

 

  • Drive Pit to Customer initiatives through the initiative lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and digital process governance.
  • Facilitation of workshops, undertake structured opportunity framing, data analysis, and problem-solving engagements to lead teams through asset needs / challenges and translating into digital opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend technologies to support digital use-cases
  • Ability to collaborate with technology partners and Asset customers to ensure effective delivery of digital solutions and value  
  • Provide PMO support to accelerate initiative delivery, including business case framing and valuation, technical and stakeholder management, and change management to support user adoption.
  • Maintain a wide network of impact, coordinate across stakeholders and leadership to manage risks, align plans, and support successful initiative delivery.
  • Reporting and presentations for executive leadership audience

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, commerce or similar. Experience with WAIO supply chain is highly advantageous.  

 

  • Experience in automation technologies or digital project delivery, with a strong understanding of how to integrate digital solutions into operational environments is highly advantageous.
  • Deeply curious and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, using data, creativity, and systems thinking to navigate complexity and drive meaningful outcomes.  
  • Passionate about change and transformation, with a track record of influencing teams and leaders to deliver measurable results.  
  • Excellent technical and business acumen with structured and critical thinking in complex decision making, opportunity framing and investment decision analysis.
  • Focus on delivery, translating insights into action and following through to achieve sustainable outcomes.  
  • Highly collaborative, proven ability to build, grow and manage relationships across technical and business teams, including senior and executive stakeholders.  
  • Ability to quickly adapt and apply integrative thinking to develop strategic advice, deliver briefings on complex issues and be alert to risks and opportunities.
  • Ability to cope with multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
